My Story
When I first signed up to be a Scentsy Consultant in February of 2010, I had never even seen any of their products in person! My friend in Oklahoma had invited me to her Scentsy Launch Party even though I lived here in Temecula, CA. Curious as to what Scentsy was, I checked out her website, and was so impressed with the products that I signed up as a consultant myself the very next day! My kit arrived a few days later, and I was so excited going through all the products and smelling all of the scents! So much fun! Because I had two cats and two grandkids who came to visit a lot, I could never burn candles as they were just too dangerous. I was SO happy to find this wonderful product that I could leave turned on 24 hours a day if I wanted, with no danger of fire, or soot, or smoke that would cause harm to anyone. And there were SO many choices - over 40 beautiful warmers in 3 different sizes, and over 80 amazing scents to choose from! LOVED it!
Over the past 10+ years, I have learned more and more about this wonderful company - their motto, "always give more than you take" has really inspired me to do more in my life. I love that the business is run by Orville & Heidi, and that they have 5 children who help out. I love that they are "hands-on", fully involved in the day-to-day affairs, and that they practice what they preach, staying involved with so many different charities and helping so many people and inspiring us to do the same.
I've had an at-home bookkeeping business that keeps me in my home office a lot, and I was never getting out among people, which is something I love doing. Scentsy gave me a way to meet so many new and wonderful friends and customers - I love the product so much that I just want to share it with everyone I know, and do not even consider this a job - I consider it getting paid to do what I love! My team is growing continuously and my goal is to be able to do this full-time as soon as I'm able!
